During October 6-8th the pedalers were invited to the home of Bob & Patsy Lummis in Marshfield, Mo for some riding in the Ozarks.  Those attending were Joel & Shirley, Walt & Betty and Dale & Judy. Photos here.

On Saturday there was a ride to Turners Station where we stopped for lunch.  The lunch choices were a cold sandwich lunch for $5.50, or a Hot Lunch for $5.50.  Most opted for the hot lunch which included Roast Pork, Baked Potato, vegatable and a drink.  What a bargain and the food was great.

Several pedalers gathered at 6:30 am at Sooner Park to ride 70 miles or 100 miles.  Four brave souls did the 100 mile (actually about 104+ miles).  The weather was great the hills were numerous.  Everyone had a good time on the ride.

Anyone seen a big pig? PDF Print E-mail
Written by Dale Munn
Friday, 30 June 2006
You just never know what kind of picture opportunity will present itself on a pedaler ride  On a recent Thursday ride several pedalers paused to have their picture taken with the "Pig." We tried to get Jack to climb up, but he said Dale should be the one. No one wanted to climb onto the pig.  Where is Tim when you need him? Even though FreeWheel is over for this year, pedalers are still active riding on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.  See the calendar for further information. Come and join us, see if you know where the Redneck Wind chime is located.
