For several years there have been Mountain Bike rides scheduled on Wednesday afternoon and on Sunday afternoon.  For the last few years, there has been more interest in Road bike riding as a year round activity.

The scheduled Mountain bike rides during the Summer were mainly on gravel roads, mostly involving driving to the start.  The maps of these rides are in the Download area.  During the winter, the mountain bike rides were mostly at Osage Hills State park, although sometimes the rides were at Elk City Reservoir, which has a nice set of mountain bike trails.

Since there are only two days on the weekends, it makes sense to have Saturday for road bike rides and Sunday for Mountain Bike rides.  Of course since most of the club is only interested in road bike rides, it seems logical that there can be an alternative on Sunday for additional road bide rides.  You can then have your choice, mountain bide ride or road bike ride.  It's a good idea as there are some community riders that only want to ride mountain bikes and we would like to have them in the club to have a group to support another cycling activity.

Let me know what you think.
