The P66 Health Fair is scheduled for February 24 in the Adams Building. The Pedalers will have a table which Jared Barr and Susan Jackson and Alan Mitchell will host. Shirley may help also, and will check to see if Keith can print more club brochures.

March 13 is the beginning of Daylight Saving Time, so the spring training rides will begin on March 15.
Joel will soon propose a motion via email which the club will vote on at its next meeting. This motion would be to remove the requirement from the club’s bylaws that the club must be a member of the IMBA. The club no longer has active mountain bike riders, and this would save us $100 per year in membership fees.
After several members renewed their memberships at this meeting, our current bank balance is $1933.62. Several annual expenses have yet to be paid for 2016.
Prior to Christmas, club members were contacted by the Boys and Girls Club seeking assistance with fixing up several bikes that the BGC wished to give away to kids as Christmas gifts. Several members participated in repairing the bikes, but there was not adequate time before the holiday to get everything done in time. Members expressed interest in helping with this project in the future, preferably much earlier in the year to allow time to order parts and to more thoroughly clean and repair the bikes.
A motion was proposed and passed (after a motion by Judy Munn and seconded by Dan Reinking) for the club to purchase an annual membership to RideWithGPS for Road Director Jared Barr to be able to create maps for various club bike rides.
Freewheel is staying overnight in Bartlesville this year. There was some discussion of having a Freewheel speaker at our March meeting at the public library, as well as writing or providing a Freewheel article to the Examiner-Enterprise.
